Some moments feel extra special to capture, and this was one of them. After a long season of hoping, praying, and trusting in God, Kara and Blake are celebrating their beautiful miracle. It was such an honor for me to photograph this incredibly meaningful moment in their journey.
Their gender reveal was intimate and filled with emotion. Kara’s sister helped set up the reveal since she was the only one who knew the baby’s gender, making the moment even more exciting and heartfelt. Kara and Blake chose to experience the reveal privately first, just the two of them, allowing them to fully take in the joy and emotion of the moment together.
Later, their older kids joined in and had their own special reveal, which made the moment even more memorable for the whole family. Instead of a big party, they chose something quiet, personal, and meaningful capturing genuine emotions they will forever cherish.
Capturing moments like this is one of the greatest joys of being a photographer. Every family’s story is unique, and it is such an honor to preserve these once in a lifetime memories. The laughter, the tears, and the overwhelming joy that comes with welcoming a new life.
